will need to add a new (2018)USB media hub in order to use the APPLE CARPLAY and ANDROID AUTO features. Simply remove your existing USB media hub and install the new media hub (make sure its media hub for 2018 models, available at your local dealership)
Customers who are currently subscribed to the paid subscription of UConnect Access
®
will forfeit this feature by upgrading to the new UConnect 4c nav system (
which now uses Sirius Guardian
®
).
At this time, it is extremely rare that Sirius Guardian will allow for a service retrofit.

Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing back-up rear view camera.
Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing roof-mounted Sirius® satellite radio antenna. You would need to add a Sirius/GPS antenna if you don't have one.
Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing UConnect® bluetooth hands-free calling feature.
Simply re-pair your phone to the new radio once installed.
You may need to add a Uconnect 4c retrofit interface if your vehicle is 2014 and equipped with heated/cooled seats and steering wheels in order to retain this features.
